Surya is an orphan who makes a living as a real estate agent in Varanasi. He also profits from the bodies that end up at Manikarnika Ghat, hinting at a ruthless street-level world. He harbors a desire to rule the area.

A litigation case lands Surya and his friend in Shivagaada, a blood-drenched village in Karnataka. The town is ruled by Bhairava Dorai and Rathnamma, powerful landlords who control the lives of the inhabitants. Surya steps into this dangerous power structure as a guest of Bhairava.

Surya visits Bhairava Dorai's house and is taken in as a guest. This marks the start of his uneasy stay in Shivagaada amid ongoing conflicts.

Rathnamma learns from Basavanna that Surya is her own son, stirring fear about the consequences of his knowledge. The revelation intensifies the village's tense atmosphere.

Basavanna reveals that Bhairava and Rathnamma are Surya's real parents, who had entrusted Basavanna to care for him. Surya is sworn to keep his origin secret and to protect Bhairava's family.

Bhairava engages in a water feud with rival landlord Veerabhadra. The dispute sets the stage for larger conflict between families and threatens the village's peace.

Veerabhadra attacks Bhairava's family at a village festival. Surya steps in, defeats Veerabhadra, and earns Bhairava's trust by humbling his rival.

Veerabhadra's son Tandava is released from prison and learns of his father's humiliation. He attacks Surya and Bhairava at the DC's office, but Surya evades the assault, and Tandava realizes Surya's true origin.

To placate tensions and deliver water to the village, Tandava and Veerabhadra propose a marriage between Tandava and Pallavi. The plan is also intended to drive Surya out of the village.

Bhairava and Rathnamma learn Pallavi's love for Surya and press him to leave the village. The ruling family wants to protect themselves by removing Surya, despite his bond with Pallavi.

The wedding scheme is revealed to be a trap by Tandava and Veerabhadra to stop Bhairava's digital clock fix on the river and to exile Surya. The plan shows how power players manipulate events to control water and people.

Tandava and Veerabhadra kidnap Basavanna and Bhairava's family and Tandava reveals Surya's true origin to Bhairava. The truth shatters the fragile boundaries between family loyalties and vengeance.

Surya arrives in time, rescues them, and kills Tandava and Veerabhadra. Peace returns to Shivagaada and the river's water flows again, signaling restored order.
