Madeline: Lost in Paris

Madeline learns that Horst has been designated her guardian and travels to the Parisian boarding school to present court papers to Miss Clavel. Horst announces plans to take her to Vienna for finishing school, casting a hopeful but fragile future over Madeline. The departure is set for the next day on the Orient Express.

The following morning, Horst leads Madeline into the Paris Métro, steering her away from the promised journey to Vienna.
