In a poverty-stricken Los Angeles neighborhood, Teddy runs a taco shack that doubles as a front for a human trafficking ring. With the help of corrupt ICE Agent Fowler, he abducts illegal immigrants and sells them into prostitution and illegal organ harvesting. The operation sets the grim, non-linear world of the film in motion.

The legendary luchador, El Monstruo, is disgraced and reduced to a henchman and enforcer for Teddy. He remains loyal in hopes of restoring his legacy, living with the burden of a tarnished past. This arrangement ties the masked savior to Teddy's criminal empire.

Kaylee is pregnant with El Monstruo's child, a symbol of potential redemption for his lineage. The unborn baby motivates El Monstruo to seek honor for his name. The relationship binds the fates of these central figures.

Crystal and Dan, Kaylee's biological parents, run a run-down motel and had 'sold' Kaylee to Teddy. Teddy prostituted her, unbeknownst to them, while El Monstruo pledged himself in her service. The family history weaves the trafficking plot directly into Kaylee's life.

Teddy informs Crystal that Kaylee has offered him one of her kidneys to help Dan's health issues. Crystal reluctantly accepts the rumor, which deepens the family tragedy. After El Monstruo fails to retrieve money, Teddy fires him and orders a hit on both him and Kaylee.

Keith, an ex-con and Teddy's former accountant, arrives at California State Prison to pick up his friend Randy after a long stretch. Randy bears a swastika tattoo across his face, a legacy of the prison system, but he claims it was forced on him for survival. He reveals he has learned multiple languages and cultures during incarceration.

Keith and Randy are given an ultimatum: kidnap Kaylee to settle the debt or Teddy will kill Keith's wife and children. They reluctantly become the abductors, stepping into a world of danger as the kidnapping plan unfolds. The scheme pulls several narratives toward a single, violent climax.

Kaylee resists El Monstruo's attempts to flee and even threatens the unborn child, triggering a blind rage that knocks him unconscious. Crystal drives to Kaylee's house and discovers Kaylee is pregnant, adding urgency to the procedure Kaylee may undergo. The confrontation heightens the stakes for everyone involved.

Crystal learns that Dan has committed suicide after discovering Kaylee's kidney plan, plunging her into despair. She then witnesses Keith and Randy forcing Kaylee into a car, initiating the kidnapping sequence. The motel becomes a scene of grief, fear, and a dawning sense of inevitability.

El Monstruo wakes to find Kaylee missing and their house in ruins. He is attacked by Agent Fowler and sustains injuries, yet survives with no memory of how he ended up outside Crystal's motel clutching Fowler's bleeding hand. The memory loss adds confusion to the hunt for Kaylee.

Crystal grieves at the front desk as the tension grows around Kaylee's condition. Randy and Keith arrive and consider whether to proceed with the kidnapping or pull back. The confrontation spills into the motel parking lot as Kaylee goes into labor.

Teddy drives to Crystal's motel, enters the room during Kaylee's labor, and orders El Monstruo to bring Kaylee to him. Randy encourages El Monstruo in Spanish, reigniting his resolve to fight Teddy. A chase escalates toward the taco shack's basement where Kaylee and the baby are central.

The group locates Kaylee and the newborn in a meat fridge in the taco shack basement. El Monstruo, driven by legacy, grabs his son and runs out, crying 'Legacy is all!' The building erupts into chaos as the pursuers close in.

Seeing more corrupt ICE agents entering the restaurant, El Monstruo makes a last-ditch effort to save everyone and kills the ICE agents. Randy fights Teddy, while Kaylee and Crystal flee and are forced to confront Agent Fowler. El Monstruo is mortally wounded, and Randy takes up the mask to free the prostitutes and lead them home to Mexico.

Randy, now masked, frees the prostitutes and leads them back to Mexico, while Crystal and Kaylee ride away in a van. Kaylee asks for help, signaling the precarious future ahead for their family and their chosen path. The closing images bind the themes of legacy, survival, and the bonds formed amid chaos.
