Linda makes a brave appearance on the Donahue show, sharing her traumatic experiences and bringing her parents to tears as they watch from home. This public disclosure serves as a catalyst for awareness on these issues.

Despite the commercial success of Deep Throat, wherein Linda earned only $1,250, she becomes a prominent advocate against domestic violence. Tragically, Linda passes away in a car accident in 2002, just three months before Chuck's death from a heart attack.
