Lilo & Stitch

Dr. Jumba Jookiba is convicted by the United Galactic Federation for illegal genetic experimentation. His most notorious creation, Experiment 626, is deemed a near-indestructible creature with advanced intelligence and destructive tendencies, leading to his harsh sentencing.

While being transported to a barren asteroid for exile, Experiment 626 seizes the opportunity and escapes custody. He hijacks a spaceship, embarking on a journey that leads him to crash-land on Earth, specifically on the island of Kauai in Hawaii.

Disoriented from the crash, Experiment 626, later known as Stitch, is struck by passing trucks before being taken to a local animal shelter. This shelter becomes the setting for Stitch's new life with his soon-to-be owner, Lilo.

Teenage Nani Pelekai, struggling to care for her younger sister Lilo after their parents' death, decides to take Lilo to the animal shelter. Mistakenly thinking Stitch is a dog, Lilo adopts him and names him Stitch, believing she has found her new friend.

Stitch's first night with the Pelekais is filled with chaos as he sabotages a luau where Nani works. This disastrous event leads to Nani losing her job, which puts further strain on their home life as they face the risk of Lilo being taken away.

With Nani's job in jeopardy, Cobra Bubbles, the social worker, insists that Lilo must teach Stitch good behavior. Despite her efforts, Stitch's inherent destructive tendencies lead to continuous failures in training, making the family's situation more precarious.

While surfing with Nani's friend David, Stitch's presence attracts the attention of Jumba and Agent Pleakley. Their clumsy attempt to capture Stitch nearly results in Lilo drowning, but David intervenes just in time to save her from danger.

Feeling guilty for the trouble he has caused, Stitch decides to leave the Pelekai family. Just as Cobra Bubbles decides to take Lilo into foster care, Stitch's absence leads to even greater worry for Nani about Lilo's future.

While Nani is away at a job interview, Jumba and Pleakley find Stitch at the Pelekai house, leading to a chaotic battle. When Nani returns, she is devastated to find their home has been destroyed, just as Cobra Bubbles comes to take Lilo.

Desperate to save Lilo, Nani approaches Jumba and Pleakley for help, but they initially refuse. Stitch, influenced by Lilo's lesson about 'family,' ultimately persuades them to join the rescue mission to confront Gantu and save Lilo.

After a thrilling chase using Jumba's spaceship, Stitch and the team successfully confront Captain Gantu, who has taken Lilo captive. They manage to outsmart him, leading to Lilo's rescue from his spaceship.

The Grand Councilwoman arrives on Earth, intending to arrest Stitch for his actions. However, after witnessing his bravery and loyalty, she decides to let him stay with Lilo, impressed by his transformation into a 'model citizen.'

Cobra Bubbles, the social worker, reveals his secret background as a CIA agent to the Grand Councilwoman. He reassures her of Earth’s safety and mentions their mysterious history tied to an incident in Roswell, New Mexico.

With Stitch now part of the family, the Pelekais start to rebuild their home with the support of David and Cobra Bubbles. This marks a new chapter in their lives, embracing the idea of 'ohana,' or family, as they gather together.
