The story begins with a chance encounter between two young men, Marcelo—later known as Marcelo D2—and Skunk, who were selling t-shirts and cassette tapes in Rio de Janeiro to make a living. This meeting led to the formation of Planet Hemp, one of Brazil's most beloved bands of the 1990s. Facing societal prejudice, they channeled their music into a powerful message of awareness and resistance, captivating an entire generation and becoming a cultural phenomenon.
