In a law‑less, futuristic Brazil of towering concrete, rival gangs duel with slam‑poetry, their movements reminiscent of parkour. The narrative unfolds across three timelines: the past introduces teenage Riobaldo and the striking Diadorim; the present erupts in a brutal clash that reveals hidden sexual identities; and the future exposes Riobaldo’s pact with the devil.
