Kottayam Kunjachan

In the village of Odaangara, Mikhael and his family are locked in a long-standing dispute with their neighbor Paappan over land and a desired front view for his bungalow. Paappan's ruthlessness is clear as he schemes to pressure them, while Jimmy pushes for eviction by force. The Uppukandam Brothers warn of retaliation if negotiations fail, setting the stage for escalating conflict.

When talks collapse, Paappan resorts to underhanded tactics and his son Jimmy supports eviction by force. Mikhael challenges the plan and is beaten, illustrating how the dispute spills into violence. The family prepares for further threats as tensions rise in the neighborhood.

Aleyamma summons her brothers, the Uppukandam clan, to respond to Paappan's intimidation. Korah, the eldest, leads the assault and the brothers humiliate Paappan and his son in a counter-blow. The village becomes a chessboard of rival factions and shifting loyalties.

Kottayam Kunjachan, an erstwhile thug who served seven years for a fatal fight, makes a dramatic entrance back into town and demands compensation from his former employers. He is arrested after a confrontation but is bailed out by his guardian, a Christian priest who raised him from infancy. Following his guardian's advice, he leaves Kottayam for Odaangara to start anew.

In Odaangara, Kunjachan, with his assistant Bosco, establishes a technical institute. He quickly endears himself to the villagers through his skills and charisma. His presence introduces a new dynamic to the community and draws Mikhael and his family into his orbit.

Kunjachan earns the trust of Mikhael and Molly by thwarting a kidnapping attempt on Mollykutty led by Jimmy and his gang. The rescue wins him favor with Mikhael's family and solidifies his role in the village. Molly begins to see him in a different light, even as her past with him remains complicated.

Aleyamma persuades Mikhael to rent out their outhouse to Kunjachan, a strategic move that brings him closer to the family. Mikhael also convinces Kunjachan to go to confession and begin living as a devout Christian. The act marks a turning point in Kunjachan's personal journey.

Kunjachan begins to develop feelings for Molly, who despises him for his past. Susie recruits him to derail Molly's looming betrothal to Kuzhiyil Joy, and Kunjachan performs the task with surprising competence. Molly's manipulation creates a web of misunderstanding and tension between the couple.

Kunjachan's attempts to speak with Molly are misinterpreted as a rape attempt by Aleyamma, leading Mikhael to eject him. Kunjachan is beaten by the Uppukandam brothers, and Molly does not intervene, deepening the rift between him and the family. The community's loyalties become increasingly murky.

The women are taken to Jimmy's plantation, prompting a bold rescue mission by the Uppukandam brothers. Kunjachan orchestrates a counter-move to recover them and restore some measure of safety for the family. The village braces for a final confrontation.

In a dramatic turn, Molly and Susie are rescued by Kunjachan, and Molly is consoled after a near-rape by Jimmy. The next morning, the Uppukandam brothers arrive at the institute to propose Molly's marriage to Kunjachan, sealing a complex shift in loyalties. The village ends the sequence with an uneasy alliance and a remarried future in sight.
