Kichu, once a child artist, now struggles to transition into lead roles as an adult. He is constantly pigeonholed into minor parts and faces taunts about his skin color from the townspeople. The dream of superstardom feels distant, yet he clings to stubborn hope.

Ann Maria befriends Kichu, believing his connections could open doors in the film industry. He momentarily feels seen and hopeful, misreading their friendship as romantic interest. The possibility of breakthrough arrives but is tangled with ambiguity.
