Katamarayudu

Katamarayudu, Katamarayudu a brave and selfless guardian, lives in Oddaanchatram with his four younger brothers. Katamarayudu is deeply devoted to them, often sacrificing his own happiness for their well‑being. The brothers are notorious for getting into fights, and their lawyer Bail Lingam frequently bailed them out of trouble. Katamarayudu is openly opposed to marriage, fearing a wife could stir discord among the siblings, and he promises not to fall in love or wed. Yet behind his vow, his brothers secretly nurture their own relationships, keeping their romantic exploits under wraps while looking up to the protective eldest brother.

Seeking Katama’s blessing for their relationships, their childhood friend recalls that Katamarayudu once loved a girl named Avantika. They hatch a plan to reintroduce Avantika to Katamarayudu, hoping he will fall for her again. However, they discover that Avantika is now married with children. Undeterred, they find another woman named Avantika, hoping Katamarayudu will fall for her simply because of the name. Initially reluctant, Katamarayudu eventually falls in love with the new Avantika.

Katamarayudu soon clashes with a powerful market figure, Radia, who controls the village — Radia tries to kill Katama’s brothers, prompting Katamarayudu to kidnap Radia’s son, Juttu Ranga. After a fierce confrontation, Katamarayudu orders Radia to leave the village, restoring a fragile calm.

On the journey to Avantika’s village, she explains her family: her father, Bhupathi, a respected man who abhors violence, and her brother, a violent man who was killed. Bhupathi refuses to bury his own son’s body, choosing peace and harmony in the village. During the trip, goons attack the train, but Katamarayudu fights them off, surprising Avantika, who had believed he was non‑violent.

In Avantika’s village, Katamarayudu and his brothers, now clean‑shaven, are warmly welcomed. Bhupathi is impressed by their love and hospitality. Katamarayudu learns that goon Yelasari Bhanu, who holds a grudge against Bhupathi, plans to kill him. Years earlier, Bhupathi had exposed Bhanu’s father for causing a factory explosion, leading to his arrest and suicide. Bhanu seeks revenge against Bhupathi, and Katamarayudu discreetly deals with the threats to Bhupathi and his family. However, when Bhupathi’s granddaughter finds a sickle under Katamarayudu’s jeep, Bhupathi orders him to leave.

Bhanu, having escaped a death sentence, arrives to kill Bhupathi. Katamarayudu hides Bhupathi’s family in a safe place, but Bhanu kidnaps Katamarayudu’s brother Sivarayudu. Katamarayudu arrives just in time to save him but is attacked by Bhanu. Bhupathi and his family witness Katamarayudu’s bravery as he fights off Bhanu and his men. An injured Katamarayudu rises and brutally kills Bhanu and his henchmen. Impressed by Katamarayudu’s valor, Bhupathi agrees to let him marry Avantika.

The tale culminates in joyous unions, as Katamarayudu and his brothers marry, bringing unity, peace, and lasting happiness to their family.
