Veerabhadrayya, played by Chalapathi Rao, rules a village with an iron fist, forever surrounded by his loyal henchmen, an aide, and the village sarpanch who enforce his will. In this harsh world, a local farmer named Venkateswarlu, Ranganath, struggles to provide for his widowed daughter. His son Suryam, Chiranjeevi, is a diligent student who studies in a nearby city and longs for a future beyond the confines of the village. The spark between Suryam and Veerabhadrayya’s daughter, Madhulatha, Deepens the tension, as the two families become entangled in a forbidden romance that threatens the feudal balance of power.
When Veerabhadrayya learns of this romance, he demands that Venkateswarlu persuade his son to end the relationship, but the elder refuses to bow to such pressure. The conflict takes a brutal turn as Veerabhadrayya kills Venkateswarlu and then presses Suryam to repay the money lent to the deceased man. Suryam, determined to honor his father’s memory, asks for time and, with the help of his elder sister, begins to raise crops to settle the loan.
Just as the harvest nears, catastrophe strikes: Veerabhadrayya and his henchmen destroy the crops and launch a brutal assault aimed at Suryam’s sister, who, facing the horror, chooses to end her life. In a cruel twist of fate, Veerabhadrayya frames Suryam for his sister’s death, accusing him of coercing her into prostitution and driving her to suicide. Suryam is arrested, his name smeared in the eyes of the law and the village.
The second act follows Suryam’s daring escape from jail and his relentless pursuit of justice against Veerabhadrayya and those who corrupted the system. With the support of Sujatha, a doctor, Suryam’s quest expands from personal vengeance to a broader fight for truth and accountability. Sujatha stands beside him, offering medical insight and steadiness as the plan to dismantle the oppressor’s grip takes shape. Sumalatha lends gravity to the role of Sujatha, underscoring the film’s emotional core.
Madhulatha, aware of Suryam’s innocence and the injustices that have shattered their lives, remains steadfast by his side. Her presence strengthens Suryam’s resolve and gives him a moral compass as he battles a corrupt power structure that has crushed families and futures alike. As his acts of vengeance escalate, the other villagers begin to see him not as a threat but as a symbol of resistance, rallying to his cause and rethinking the balance of power in their community.
The climax erupts in a dramatic showdown between Suryam and Veerabhadrayya. In a fierce confrontation, Suryam exposes the villain’s crimes, dismantling the veneer of control that Veerabhadrayya has built around the village and its people. Justice, long overdue, finally catches up with the tyrant, and Suryam’s name is cleared while his sister’s memory is vindicated. In the aftermath, the village’s tides begin to turn as the hero’s victory signals a new hope: a future where courage and truth can outshine oppression.
