Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal

Rambo is born into a family cursed to bring misfortune to anyone who marries into it. His father tries to break the curse by marrying Minah, but the curse strikes again when his father dies accidentally, and Minah suffers a stroke, becoming paralyzed. The family believes Rambo's birth has brought negative luck to the household.

As Rambo grows up, he internalizes the belief that he emanates ill luck wherever he goes. His mother’s health worsens when she suffers a seizure in his presence, prompting him to run away from the village to escape his perceived curse, feeling his proximity harms her.

Rambo works as a cab driver during the day and a pub bouncer at night to make a living. At the pub, he befriends Khatija Begum, and their friendship deepens after he confronts her abusive boyfriend, Mohammed Mobi, leading to her breaking up with him.

While driving his cab, Rambo also meets Kanmani Ganguly, a saleswoman caring for her younger sister Minmini and differently-abled brother Bhargav. Both women develop romantic feelings for Rambo, which he reciprocates, leading to a three-way love situation.

After both Khatija and Kanmani propose to him, Rambo realizes his love for both women and believes their love is transforming his misfortune into good luck. He decides to accept both proposals, despite the complications of his double love life.

Rambo enlists help from Prabhu, a reality show host, to stage a story that he has a memory disorder that makes him forget events during the day and night. This ruse initially helps him manage his relationships but unravels when he admits he remembers both women and loves them equally.

Kanmani and Khatija refuse to sacrifice their love and stand firm in their desire to marry Rambo. However, after Khatija's father's death, they become friends. When they discover the staged nature of Rambo's condition, they are hurt and decide to leave him.

Rambo's friend advises him to visit his seriously ill mother in the village one last time. Despite his fears that his presence might worsen her condition, Rambo goes, and surprisingly, she recovers, making the villagers believe that Rambo's presence now brings good luck.

The villagers, now believing that Rambo's presence can end the curse, urge Khatija and Kanmani to marry Rambo to ensure all his relatives can also find happiness through marriage. The women agree, hosting a wedding for the entire family.

Khatija and Kanmani sacrifice their love during the wedding so Rambo can be with his family, believing their union breaks the curse. A year later, Rambo claims their love was enough to end the family’s bad luck.

After the women leave, Rambo is seen joking with his neighbor, revealing that Katrina Kaif has started chatting with him as his new girlfriend. He dismisses her, tossing his phone aside and leaving her waiting online, hinting at new romantic pursuits.
