Madhumathi, known as Madhu, is the daughter of MLA Suryanarayana—a rigid, power-obsessed man who believes his daughter’s choices could tilt the balance of caste-centric politics. He tries to shield her from continuing her MBBS at college and keeps her close to a circle of friends with more progressive mindsets. Yet Madhu enters her third year with unwavering dignity, dedicating herself to her studies and steering clear of relationships or love affairs.

During a medical camp with her classmates in the scenic Araku Valley, Madhu’s path intersects with Bunny Bhasker in a lighthearted, almost comedic encounter in the woods. Bunny later travels to Hyderabad, taking a job as a pizza delivery rider while pursuing an MBA in the evenings. A spark of misinterpretation flickers when Surya jump-starts a belief that Madhu is involved with Bunny, and he schemes to marry her off to DCP Arvind. Madhu, devoted to her studies, resents the idea of marriage and turns to Bunny for support, blaming him for the pressure of an arranged match.

Bunny, determined to protect Madhu from an unwanted alliance, devises a plan to sway Arvind. He lies about loving Madhu, and Arvind, believing the tale, cancels the planned wedding—an act that only deepens Surya’s anger. In a parallel bid to control the situation, Surya then pushes for a marriage between Madhu and his friend Subba Rao. The plot twists when Arvind learns of Bunny’s involvement and, in a remarkable turn, arranges for Bunny and Madhu to marry at a registrar’s office. Arvind even provides a new flat for the couple, signaling a break with Madhu’s family and a fresh start together, though the move also tightens Madhu’s estrangement from her upbringing.

As Madhu and Bunny begin their life apart from her family, they navigate a string of mishaps and humorous situations that mark their evolving bond. Bunny, who once supported Madhu financially, finds himself facing unemployment, and Madhu’s dreams of finishing her medical degree remain a guiding light. To keep up with the semester fees, Bunny once again demonstrates his resourcefulness by stepping into the film industry as an action choreographer, performing dangerous stunts that enable Madhu to progress toward her MBBS honors.

Her academic journey hits a critical moment when Madhu scores poorly in a subject and receives stern feedback from a professor. Rather than abandoning her resolve, she redoubles her efforts, balancing a demanding schedule with the mounting pressures of her unconventional life with Bunny. When the time comes for graduation, she confesses, in a quiet moment of honesty with a close friend, that her heart belongs to Bunny. The friend reveals a truth about Bunny’s sacrifices—he had asked her not to disclose his perilous stunt work and his plan to return home to Vishakhapatnam—leaving Madhu with a mix of pride and regret.

Driven by a sense of reconciliation, Madhu hurries to meet Bunny at the railway station. Along the way, she is unexpectedly arrested on prostitution charges after unknowingly giving a lift to someone working as a sex worker. Surya storms into the police station, slapping Ratnam, the police official who arrested her, though this act also earns Surya an arrest. With the help of a cell phone supplied by an inmate, Madhu reaches Bunny, who arrives just in time to counter Ratnam’s threats. A tense confrontation ensues, and Arvind intervenes to calm the chaos, urging the couple to leave while promising to handle the fallout. In the end, Bunny and Madhu reunite, choosing each other and stepping forward together into an uncertain but hopeful future.**
