Rohan Bhatnagar Hrithik Roshan is a kind young man who has been blind since birth and makes a living as an animation voice actor. Through his friends, he meets Supriya, a working woman who is also blind, yet proudly independent. The two fall in love and choose to marry, building a life together grounded in mutual respect and shared resilience. Their bond feels ordinary in its sweetness, but their world is soon jolted by a harsh intrusion from Amit Shellar, Rohit Roy, a local goon and the younger brother of Madhavrao Shellar, a well-known politician. Amit, along with Wasim, Suresh Menon, treats the couple with drunken arrogance, and Rohan’s protective instinct rises to the surface in a way that hints at the darker paths he may be forced to walk.
The assault becomes a turning point. The next morning, while Rohan is at work, Amit and Wasim break into their home and attack Supriya. Rohan immediately reports the crime to the police, and officer Chaubey, Narendra Jha, advises a crucial step: Supriya must be medically examined within 24 hours to document the assault. The couple sets out to follow that direction, but their hopes are dashed when Shellar’s men abduct them and hold them captive for 36 hours. When they are finally released, they are questioned and criticized by the police for allegedly delaying the examination, and they are treated as if they could be lying about what happened. The sting of that encounter lingers as they attempt to return to some sense of normalcy.
Back home, the ordinary becomes fragile. Supriya endeavors to live as before, but Rohan grows quiet, turning inward in a way that worries her. One morning, he returns unexpectedly from work to apologize for not being as supportive as he should be, yet the moment he steps inside, he discovers Supriya’s body, a suicide by hanging. Madhavrao visits him and reveals a grim truth: Amit assaulted Supriya not once but twice. Rohan finds Supriya’s suicide note, which confirms the second assault and the unbearable weight it carries. Grief solidifies into a vow: he will seek justice, even if it means bending, or perhaps breaking, the rules of the world that failed them. He taunts the police representative, implying that the truth will remain out of reach for them, especially given his blindness and the system’s limitations.
What follows is a chilling transformation. Rohan uses the power of his voice-modulating skills to lure the perpetrators toward places he knows intimately. He begins by targeting Wasim, deceiving him and leaving Amit’s handkerchief behind to frame Amit. Then he lures Amit to the warehouse where Rohan and Supriya had once been held, using his senses—most notably the scent—to locate Amit and restrain him as a blaze consumes him in an orchestrated explosion. Officer Chaubey, increasingly uneasy, suspects Rohan of the murders of Amit and Wasim and places him under house arrest. Yet the path to justice, for a blind man, remains obstructed by a network of power and fear. With the help of a trusted friend, Rohan evades the logjam of authority and summons Madhavrao to a building under construction that was meant to be the couple’s new home. There, in a shocking sequence, Rohan kills Madhavrao and makes it appear as if Madhavrao himself took his own life, a calculated act designed to erase the link between the crime and the vigilante justice now underway.
In the aftermath, Rohan recounts the complicated masquerade to Chaubey: Amit killed Wasim, and Madhavrao’s death was staged as suicide to mask the truth. The officer, faced with no conclusive evidence against a blind man, finds himself unable to intervene. The final act sends Supriya’s ashes out to sea, a ritual that brings a sense of closure for a couple whose love was tested by cruelty, loss, and a relentless pursuit of vengeance.
