Meera and Henry are shown living in their modern home in Corrales, New Mexico, which represents their aspirations and hope for a new beginning after overcoming personal challenges. After a delightful date night, Meera and Henry return home only to find their living room in disarray, a sign that their sense of security has been shattered. Thieves have stolen their laptop and cell phones, which they had intentionally left behind to enjoy their evening together.

A detective visits to assess the situation, suggesting a plumber to check odd noises from the pipes. In response to the break-in, Henry decides to install a security system in their home, hoping it will protect them from future threats.
