I Know What You Did Last Raya

Ava Brooks arrives at her childhood home to attending Danica Richards' engagement party. She is still healing from her mother’s death and is anxious about running into her ex-boyfriend, Milo Griffin. The gathering reunites friends who haven't seen each other in a long time amid festive celebrations.

During the party, Teddy Spencer behaves recklessly in the street and nearly gets hit by a car. Milo pushes him out of harm’s way, but a swerve by an oncoming truck causes it to crash off the bridge, prompting the friends to attempt a rescue. They call the police, but the truck and driver mysteriously flee from the scene, and Danica asks Ava to keep what happened a secret.

One year after the party, Ava travels to Southport for Danica’s bridal shower during Fourth of July weekend. She reconnects with Milo, now more distant, and meets Tyler, who discusses her podcast about the Southport massacre from 1997. The group learns about Danica’s breakup and her new engagement to Wyatt.

At the bridal shower, Danica receives a threatening card reading 'I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER.' Later that night, Wyatt is murdered with a harpoon and hook, resembling 'The Fisherman' from the past massacre. The murder scene implicates a connection to the original killings, leaving the friends horrified and confused.

Ava investigates the origins of the massacre and visits Tyler at the Bayside House, where the killer now attacks her. Tyler is unmasked as The Fisherman, recognizes her attacker, and is murdered. Ava escapes as the killer leaves her trapped in a cage, and Stevie arrives to help her.

The town holds a meeting to cover up the murders, while Stevie reports her suspicions that the killings are resurging. Citizens discover Judah Gillespie’s mutilated body and find a photo implicating Stevie in the original massacre—revealing her as one of the town's original survivors and tied to the new murders.

The Fisherman targets Teddy at his home, stabbing him repeatedly, and then kills Grant, Teddy’s father, with a hook. The violence intensifies as the murders expand, and the friends realize the killer’s patterns are personal and tied to the town’s dark past.

Danica nightmares of Helen and her own demise, leading to chaos at the police station where she discovers Teddy and Grant's bodies. Her friend Milo is also found dead, and the group is driven to the brink of despair as they realize the killer is targeting them all.

Ava, Danica, and Stevie escape by boat, where Stevie reveals herself as The Fisherman, seeking revenge against her friends for her perceived abandonment. The gang fights to survive as Stevie stabs Danica and is eventually shot into the water by Ray.

Ray’s attempt to kill Ava and Julie is thwarted when Ava shoots him with a harpoon. Danica survives and reunites with Ava, and they mourn their losses. The film ends with a hint that the killer’s threat continues, as Karla learns the news and receives a chilling message.

After the chaos, Stevie is revealed to be the true mastermind, inspired by the original massacre and seeking revenge. The film concludes with Stevie’s message to Karla, suggesting that the killings are not over, leaving the story open for potential continuation.
