Hudson Hawk

Eddie Hawkins, also known as Hawk, is released from prison after serving time. He is welcomed back to the city, where he feels the brisk winds of the Hudson River, evoking memories of his past life as a skilled cat burglar.

Hawk reconnects with his former partner, Tommy 'Five-Tone' Messina, over a warm cup of cappuccino. This meeting represents a hopeful new beginning as they reminisce about their past escapades.

Hawk’s tranquil life is disrupted when relentless blackmailers emerge, eager to exploit his unique talents. He finds himself pressured by various parties, including a minor Mafia faction, his parole officer, and even the CIA.

Hawk discovers that the blackmail orchestrators are Darwin and Minerva Mayflower, who aim to seize Leonardo da Vinci's La Macchina dell'Oro. Their objective involves retrieving essential crystals hidden in art pieces from the Renaissance.

Sister Anna Baragli, an agent from a Vatican covert group, enters the scene with dubious motives. She collaborates with the CIA while secretly aiming to thwart Hawk's mission as they navigate through the intricacies of deception.

In a bold move to cover his tracks, Hawk resorts to drastic measures by blowing up an auctioneer. This act adds to the chaos around him and heightens the tension between him and the Mafia.
