At a funeral for a powerful Southern California patriarch, a mysterious, beautiful Latin woman named Miranda [Ana Serradilla] disrupts the ceremony and unsettles the wealthy Brighton family. Victor Brighton [Wes Bentley], the deceased’s son, feels compelled to uncover who she is and what her connection to his father might really mean.

Driven by a need for answers, Victor travels to Guanajuato, Mexico, chasing rumors and memories to learn Miranda’s true role in the man’s life. There, he ultimately finds her living with another man, Tobías [Osvaldo de León], and the tension between past and present reaches a boiling point. When Victor confronts Miranda, she denies ever knowing his father and insists they will never hear from her again.
