Gunmen

Peter Loomis, a wheelchair-using drug baron, discovers his $400 million fortune has been stolen in South America. He immediately dispatches ruthless enforcer Armor O'Malley and his sidekick Marie to locate and recover the money. Their pursuit begins with a hunt for the boat that holds the fortune and the clues to its hiding place.

O'Malley and Marie kill Carlos before he can reveal the boat's name or exact location. In the aftermath they learn that Dani, Carlos's brother, knows where the fortune is. The loss of Carlos sets the chase toward Dani and the broader money trail.

Dani is sprung from a South American prison by Cole Parker, a bounty hunter working for the DEA. Cole is motivated by knowledge of the boat's name, while Dani knows the location, and both men want the money for their own reasons. The stage is set for a volatile partnership against Loomis's men.

With Cole knowing the boat's name and Dani knowing where it is, the two men align despite mutual distrust. They realize their combined knowledge and hunger for the fortune could outpace Loomis's pursuit. A tentative alliance forms as they press toward the prize.

A mole inside the DEA leaks intelligence about the heroes' movements to O'Malley, complicating their plan. The leak lets O'Malley anticipate moves and counter the alliance as the chase intensifies. The treachery heightens the stakes for everyone involved.

Alone and outnumbered, Cole and Dani are forced into a reluctant alliance as they pursue the 400 million dollar prize. They combine their respective knowledge to stay ahead of O'Malley's pursuing forces. Trust remains fragile, but their common goal drives cooperation.

Loomis realizes that O'Malley intends to keep the money for himself and tries to have him assassinated. The attempt fails, and O'Malley returns to Loomis's estate to assert control over Loomis and his soldiers. Loomis is eventually killed in the confrontation, shifting control to O'Malley.

With Loomis dead, O'Malley renews the chase, bringing a small army to bear in pursuit of the fortune. The hunt spans multiple locations as the two sides close in on the prize. The power shift leaves Cole and Dani fighting for their lives while keeping the money in sight.

The chase culminates at a Puerto Vallarta harbor where a yacht named the Matador becomes the focal point of the confrontation. Dani and Cole shoot it out with O'Malley's soldiers and leave the Matador a flaming wreck. Dani is beside himself over the loss of the money and the fight's toll.

Cole admits he lied about the Matador's name to mislead and eliminate O'Malley. The true fortune is revealed to be stashed on a rickety fishing boat named the Gunmen. The deception shifts the pursuit away from the Matador and back toward the real hiding place.

With the path to the money clarified, the heroes decide to split the fortune and sail into the sunset. The immediate danger has passed, and the team heads toward a future with the money secure, leaving Loomis's and O'Malley's machinations behind.
