Peter Loomis Patrick Stewart is a wheelchair-using drug lord who commands a vast $400 million fortune, yet his wealth is stolen in South America by his loyal errand boy Carlos and hidden on an undisclosed boat in an undisclosed harbor. Loomis wastes no time in mobilizing his enforcer, Armor O’Malley Denis Leary, a ruthless hitman who brings his own brutal code to the hunt. Along with his loyal sidekick Marie, O’Malley wipes out Carlos to erase the trail, but the duo soon learns that Carlos’s brother Dani Servigo Christopher Lambert knows where the boat can be found.
Dani Servigo Christopher Lambert is sprung from a South American prison by Cole Parker Mario Van Peebles, a DEA bounty hunter who has his own score to settle with Loomis. Cole knows the name of the boat, Dani knows the exact location, and both men are determined to seize the fortune for themselves. A mole inside the DEA feeds O’Malley information about the heroes’ movements, turning the chase into a treacherous game of cat and mouse and heightening the stakes for everyone involved.
Alone and outnumbered, Cole and Dani are forced into a reluctant alliance as they race to reach the money, with O’Malley’s growing army in hot pursuit. Loomis quickly realizes that O’Malley intends to seize the fortune for himself and tries to neutralize him and his men, a plan that ultimately ends in tragedy as Loomis is killed and the chase intensifies under a new leadership.
As betrayals flood the path, the pursuit culminates at a Puerto Vallarta harbor, where a yacht named the Matador becomes the focal point of the final showdown. Dani and Cole engage O’Malley’s soldiers in a brutal shootout and ignite the dockside drama, leaving the Matador a flaming wreck and Dani reeling at the loss of the fortune. Yet Cole reveals a shocking twist: he lied about the boat’s name to throw O’Malley off the trail and wipe him out. The true stash sits on a rickety old fishing boat called the Gunmen, and with the money finally within reach, the two men decide to share the prize and sail toward a sunset that promises new beginnings.
