Frightmare

During a dentures commercial, the director halts the shoot because he dislikes Conrad's performance. Frustrated, the director sits on the balcony edge as Conrad pushes him off with his cane. The moment establishes Conrad's volatile temper and willingness to take action.

Conrad visits a school and boasts about his stage performances. He suddenly faints from excitement, and Meg revives him. The incident reveals both his fragility and his hold over his fans.

At home, Conrad's obese director Wolfgang visits and they discuss death arrangements. Conrad pretends to be dead, then suddenly comes to life and smothers Wolfgang with a pillow. The murder cements the director's hatred and confirms Conrad's dangerous cunning.

Meg and the other six drama students carve a path through the cemetery after dark and sneak into Conrad's tomb. They glimpse a film of Conrad welcoming them, warning that they have broken in. Terrified yet curious, they decide to take Conrad back to an old mansion for the night.

That night, Conrad's coffin bursts open and he rises from the dead. The students' fear shifts toward a grim fascination as he comes back to life. The mansion becomes a stage for his revenge and their terror.

Oscar and Donna are in the mansion when danger escalates. Conrad stalks the attic and tears Oscar's tongue from his mouth. Donna's fear deepens as she realizes the killer's otherworldly power.

Donna attempts to flee outside and encounters Conrad performing black magic, which sets her clothes on fire. She runs for safety while the mansion is consumed by fear and danger. The group realizes more people are missing and the threat grows.

The remaining teens grow anxious as Bobo is hypnotized by Conrad. He walks to Conrad's tomb and suffocates from vapors released inside the crypt. The danger within the tomb tightens the group's dread.

Eve decides to watch a movie and is lured toward the sound of Donna's voice. She is smashed into the wall by Conrad's coffin and is hidden away with Oscar's body. The body count continues to rise in the mansion.

Meg, Saint, and Stu panic as the disappearances mount and Meg wants to call the police. Stu runs upstairs for a flashlight but is decapitated by Conrad, whose severed head lands on the front lawn. The group's nightmare escalates rapidly.

Meg is trapped in the attic by Conrad, but she manages to impale him with a cross. Saint hides Meg's unconscious state and helps bring Conrad's body back to the crypt. The police arrive to discover Meg delirious and the corpses strewn about the mansion.

At the cemetery, Conrad assaults Saint and places him in the crematorium before returning to his grave. The living confront the dead and the horror reaches its peak outside the mansion.

Conrad's wife and his psychic arrive to say their final goodbyes, but the psychic steals his jewelry and is killed in response. The wife locks the crypt forever, sealing Conrad's fate within the tomb.

The final video on the crypt's television proclaims that hell is pleasant and hopes for more respect toward the dead. The undead ritual ends with the sense that Conrad's influence lingers beyond his burial.
