The movie begins in an isolated cabin in Alaska where Winston, played by Topher Grace, is apprehended by FBI agents. Deputy Marshal Madelyn Harris arrives on the scene to take him into custody, as he prepares to testify against a dangerous crime boss named Moretti.

Madelyn escorts Winston onto a plane piloted by Daryl Booth, portrayed by Mark Wahlberg, as they head to Seattle for his testimony. Suspicion arises when Winston notices discrepancies, indicating that the pilot may not be who he claims to be.

As the flight progresses, the pilot reveals himself to be a hitman hired by Moretti. He threatens Winston and Madelyn, initiating a struggle for their lives aboard the plane. Madelyn, insisting on protecting Winston, tries to fight off the assailant.

In a tense moment, the Hitman taunts Madelyn about a traumatic incident from her past where she lost a girl named Maria to a cartel attack. This revelation sheds light on her guilt and motivation throughout the film as she fights to save Winston.

Amidst the chaos, Madelyn manages to regain control of the plane and avoids a mountain collision, albeit crashing into a snowbank. The Hitman begins to untie himself, leading to a brutal confrontation with Winston.

In a brutal altercation, the Hitman stabs Winston twice, leaving him severely injured. Madelyn must act quickly to provide first aid while also trying to ensure both their survivals, showing her commitment to saving him.

Through conversations and memories, Madelyn uncovers that Deputy Director Coleridge is the mole leaking information to Moretti. This revelation intensifies her urgency to reach Anchorage and ensure they can expose him.

As they approach Anchorage, the Hitman launches one last attack during the landing sequence. Madelyn creatively fights back, ultimately ejecting him from the plane just as they reach the runway.

Madelyn executes a rough landing on the runway, requiring immediate medical attention for Winston. As emergency services arrive, a momentary sense of relief sets in, but danger lurks as Moretti's goons remain a threat.

Just as Winston receives medical assistance, another assassin attempts to suffocate him. In a dramatic turn, Madelyn steps in to confront and eliminate the assassin, ensuring Winston's safety.

After dealing with immediate threats, Madelyn contacts Coleridge to inform him of the situation. She vows that he will be held accountable for his betrayal and his involvement with Moretti.

With Winston in safe hands and Moretti's hold weakening, Madelyn prepares to expose Coleridge's treachery. Their harrowing journey ends with a sense of victory as justice edges closer.
