The story follows the journey of NRI Rad, played by Anupam Mittal, and his American fiancée, Jenni, portrayed by Jicky Schnee. Their marriage prompts Rad’s Hindi-speaking parents, Mr. Gopalakrishna, acted by Anjan Srivastav, and Mrs. Gopalakrishna, brought to life by Bharati Achrekar, to travel from India to the United States, where they quickly adapt to the American lifestyle, albeit with some reservations. Mr. Gopalakrishna is taken aback by the sight of women smoking in public, while Mrs. Gopalakrishna finds herself longing for a traditional Indian bride for her son.

As Rad goes about his work, his parents take leisurely walks, drawing them closer to their new environment. When Rad finally introduces Jenni to his parents, there are language barriers, as they struggle to understand her accent. The Gopalakrishnas are eager for Jenni to embrace their customs, insisting she wear a saree and family jewels for the wedding. However, Jenni has already purchased her wedding dress and desires a non-traditional ceremony.

During a museum visit, conflicting emotions surface as they discover that Jenni once had a boyfriend before Rad. Concerned about the relationship, Mrs. Gopalakrishna encourages Jenni to resolve her issues with Rad rather than considering divorce. In a moment meant for family bonding, Mrs. Gopalakrishna insists that Jenni cover up for a family photo.

In parallel, we see the story of Kartik, characterized by Reef Karim, who is trying to sustain a long-distance relationship with his friend Rachna, played by Pooja Kumar. Rachna’s aunt is pressing her to meet Ramana, a reserved software consultant portrayed by Manan Katohara, though Rachna feels no connection with him. Meanwhile, Rachna faces her frustrations at work, watching a less capable coworker, Randy Sandy, who is played by Tushar Unadkat, receive promotions simply for playing golf with their boss.

Kartik attempts to lift Rachna’s spirits through a virtual dinner date, where they share a candlelit meal simultaneously over the phone. Their relationship is tested as Ramana awkwardly enters the picture again, seeking a proper meeting with Rachna after an earlier misstep. Despite Kartik’s efforts, Rachna goes out with Ramana.

Alongside these intertwining stories is Sangita, a housewife neglected by her husband Nikhil, portrayed by Gaurang Vyas, who is concealing his unemployment from her. Unbeknownst to Sangita, Nikhil has been struggling silently, even as he communicates with Rad, his good friend. Nikhil’s best efforts to support Sangita are overshadowed by a series of unfortunate events, including a nasty email he sent before his departure from work.

We also follow Candy, played by Rishma Malik, as she navigates life with her messy roommates, Vivek and others. After losing his job, Vivek receives unexpected news through a parcel from the Gopalakrishnas, which contains a wedding invitation from Gita back in India, leading him to heartbreak as he realizes she has moved on.

The central plot converges at the bar “Flavors,” a place frequented by Rad and his friends. With relationships crisscrossing, the Gopalakrishnas run into Kartik and Rachna, who offer to take them to their home. That evening culminates in a wedding ceremony that brings all the characters together, highlighting the chaos as Kartik’s phone rings incessantly, interrupting the proceedings.

As the ceremony unfolds, Jenni dons traditional Indian attire, showcasing a blend of cultures. Revelations erupt, including the startling truth that Vivek’s once-adored Gita is actually Sangita, Nikhil’s wife, who doesn’t recall Vivek at all. In a twist, Rachna, through her persistent calls to Kartik, prompts him to propose during the wedding, leading to an unexpected but heartfelt acceptance. This confluence of lives emphasizes the complexities of love, tradition, and adaptation in a multicultural world.
