Holli-yuk soon discovers his infidelity, and a freak accident leaves Foon with a mild mental impairment. Seizing the moment, Holli-yuk becomes his devoted nurse, but her plan to punish him for his behavior backfires as her own feelings for him grow stronger. Their eventual reconciliation comes when Holli-yuk discovers a Styrofoam statue that Foon made in her honor, a small, heartfelt gesture that helps heal the rift between them.

As the party at the family home unfolds for a birthday celebration, Sheila leaves Moon because his longing for Leng conflicts with his prior, selfish behavior, while So and Mo-seung bring their own lovers into the home.
