The film opens with a flashback showing ACP Subhas Chandra Bose as a sincere police officer living with his parents, wife and daughter, while his younger brother Surya studies nearby. Indu comes across ACP Bose during a field trip and befriends his daughter Pinky. Pinky mentions she will introduce Indu to her uncle Surya, hinting at a future connection. The early interactions plant the seeds for Surya and Indu's budding relationship.

Surya and Indu study in the same college environment, and they begin to spend more time together. They grow closer as they share classes and conversations. A romance slowly blossoms between them.

Bose begins pursuing the notorious Shankar, a promoter and gangster involved in illegal land deals. He uncovers the deep ties between Shankar and other corrupt elements, including the D.I.G. This investigation sets Bose on a collision course with a powerful criminal network.

When the bank chairman demands repayment on a failed deal, Shankar eliminates him. Bose arrives, arrests the bank manager, and takes him away, unsettling the public. The incident sparks street protests and a sense that the case reaches high levels of corruption.

Shankar discovers where the manager is being held and arrives with his men and the D.I.G., nearly killing Bose. Bose is left for dead as Shankar orders his men to dump the body. The confrontation marks a brutal turn in the feud.

During the ensuing chaos, Surya somehow gets involved and rescues his elder brother from a burning bus. Bose succumbs to his injuries and dies in Surya's arms, a devastating moment that transforms Surya into the avenger.

The media and public are led to believe Bose swindled money, fueling anger and resentment. Surya resolves to avenge his brother by pursuing those responsible for his death and the corruption he fought against.

Seeking revenge, Surya eliminates Nikhil, who is described as a friend of Shankar and involved with the criminal network. This act escalates the vendetta and tightens the conflict with Shankar.
