Fever Lake

In his childhood, Albert hides in the attic while his mother warns him to stay put. He is forced to listen as his father murders his mother. After the murder, the killer warns that Albert carries the same evil inside him.

Neighbors discover Albert after the murder and authorities arrange for his care. He is taken from the home and placed with a foster mother who will raise him away from the family tragedy. This marks the end of his childhood with his biological family.

As adults, Albert returns to the old house with his friends and his girlfriend Sarah. The home carries a dark history that unsettles the local townspeople. Their visit rekindles fears about the legend of the lake and the evil spirit.

Sarah accompanies the group hoping to find inspiration for her writing. The townspeople urge them to leave, wary that history could repeat itself. They reference the lake's evil spirit and the string of brutal murders.
