Escape Plan

Ray Breslin, played by Sylvester Stallone, co-founds Breslin-Clark, a specialized security firm in Los Angeles. Their mission focuses on evaluating maximum-security prisons, scrutinizing layouts, and guard behavior to identify vulnerabilities in order to bolster security measures.

Breslin and his partner Lester Clark receive a lucrative offer from CIA agent Jessica Miller to assess a secret prison built for terrorists. This facility is hidden and unacknowledged by the U.S. government, pushing Breslin to take on the high-stakes assignment.

To infiltrate the prison, Breslin disguises himself as a Spanish terrorist named 'Anthony Portos' in New Orleans. However, the plan quickly hits complications when his captors remove his tracking device and administer drugs during transport, leaving him disoriented.

Upon regaining consciousness, Breslin finds himself trapped within a series of glass cells with no way to see outside. He encounters Emil Rottmayer, and together they navigate their dire situation as inmates subjected to harsh conditions.

In the prison, Breslin and Rottmayer meet Dr. Kyrie, the prison's physician. Despite the oppressive environment, Dr. Kyrie shows compassion, providing medical assistance to them after their frequent infractions and aiding in their survival.

Breslin conducts a detailed examination of the prison's structure, noting peculiarities such as the aluminum floor and steel rivets. This analysis inspires a plan for Rottmayer to acquire a crucial metal plate from Warden Hobbes's office.

Deep in solitary confinement, Breslin confides in Rottmayer about his identity and the betrayal he faced. Together, they strategize their escape route and devise ways to use the tools available to them to outsmart the guards.

Breslin successfully uses the metal plate to create a reflective surface, allowing him to pop open a secret floor panel. This discovery reveals that the prison is housed within a cargo ship located in the vast ocean, adding to the challenges of escaping.

Breslin and Rottmayer observe the guards' routines and exploit their weaknesses for information. Meanwhile, Breslin misleads Warden Hobbes, leading him to believe that Rottmayer has dangerous connections that need to be monitored closely.

Breslin convinces Dr. Kyrie to send a deceptive email to Victor Mannheim, signaling a planned riot. This diversion leads to a chaotic uprising instigated by Javed in the other cell block, providing Breslin and Rottmayer a chance to escape.

During a fierce fight, Breslin takes on Chief Security Officer Drake. As chaos erupts, Javed tragically dies in the crossfire, amplifying the stakes for Breslin and Rottmayer while they press on with their escape efforts.

Navigating towards the engine room, Breslin encounters a critical moment as he restarts the power systems. Their escape is further complicated when they face off against guards as a helicopter arrives to extract them amidst heavy gunfire.

Breslin and Rottmayer manage to board the helicopter but not without peril. Breslin is caught in turbulent waters during their escape, while Rottmayer executes a plan to incapacitate Warden Hobbes using explosives, ensuring their freedom.

Having escaped, Breslin finds himself on a Moroccan beach, where Rottmayer reveals he is actually Victor Mannheim and that Miller is his daughter. The earlier alias of 'Portos' was a method of signaling Breslin's agreement to the mission.

Back at a Moroccan airfield, Breslin learns from Ross that Lester Clark is missing. Hush's discovery indicates that Clark has been tracked to Miami, leaving Breslin preparing to confront the fallout from the betrayal that led to his imprisonment.
