Enemy Territory

Barry, a formerly successful insurance executive, goes to Lincoln Towers at night to pitch a policy to Elva. While asking for directions, he taps a boy, drawing the attention of the vampiric gang the Vampires. An ambush unfolds as the building's security guard is killed and Decon is slain, leaving Barry hunted and trapped inside.

After the assault, Barry crosses paths with Will, a soft-spoken yet capable telephone company worker. They decide to team up to survive the tower's nightmare and plot to outlast the night. The uneasy partnership marks the first step in a fragile plan to escape the building.

Barry and Will take shelter in Elva's apartment, hoping to wait out the danger. The Vampires launch a trap to flush them out, forcing a tense escape sequence through the apartment building. They eventually slip away and move deeper into the tower in search of safety.

They encounter Toni, Elva's determined granddaughter, who becomes a critical ally. Toni insists on joining the group as they move toward safety and a possible way out. The trio presses on through the maze-like corridors toward Parker's apartment.

The group reaches Mr. Parker's apartment, where the crippled veteran offers weapons and refuge. Barry is forced to kill a member of the Vampires during the escape, an act that leaves him with PTSD-like tremors. Parker's fortified wheelchair becomes a shield and a base for their plan to survive.

Elva is beaten and forced to reveal the group's location, prompting the Vampires to close in on Parker's apartment. Barry surrenders to protect Elva and Toni, trading moments of safety for precious time. The ensuing standoff ends with more gunfire as Parker and the crew face the intruders.

During the confrontation, Parker is shot in the chest and dies a short time later while Elva tries to save him. Barry, Will, and Toni slip away from the capture zone, heading for safety leaving Elva behind. The loss deepens their resolve to find a way out.

The trio heads to Chet Cole's apartment—Chet, a little boy, reveals that the basement exit is the only known route out of the building. He offers to guide them, but Chet's mother tries to keep him away, forcing a risky break from the group. They eventually descend toward the basement with Chet following.

In the basement, Chet leads the way to the exit, but the opening is too small for Barry and Will. Toni squeezes through, but Psycho—Parker's deranged relative—grabs her. Barry uses Chet's baseball bat to finish Psycho off and saves Toni, who runs for help from the police.

Toni departs to alert the police, but officers refuse assistance due to prior shootings. Will conceives a distractive plan using the money Elva gave Barry, tossing it from a window to lure the Vampires guarding the basement doorway. Chet is sent back upstairs to implement the distraction.

The money distraction draws the Vampires away from the basement, allowing Barry and Will to escape. Barry is shot in the ankle during the final push to freedom, but the plan holds long enough for them to get clear. The Count and his remaining followers close in for the final confrontation.

Will sacrifices to protect Barry in a furious street duel with the Count, finally toppling the cultish leader. When the Count dies, the remaining Vampires are left disoriented as Elva fires Parker's machine gun from the apartment window to hold them at bay. Toni and the police arrive just as the last of the gang flees, and Barry is carried toward an ambulance with Will and Toni by his side.
