A catastrophic plane crash near the US-Canada border releases a deadly cargo of 50 pounds of pure heroin, meticulously packaged in sealed packets. As the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers prepare to respond, they meet a brutal fate at the hands of a vicious group of criminals led by the unpredictable Xander. He lays claim to the coordinates of the crash site, located at a serene lake off King’s Island.

On this isolated isle, we meet Henry Taylor, a former Navy SEAL turned forest ranger, who shares his quiet life with Sanderson, an elderly hermit. One day, during his routine patrol, Henry encounters Kayla, a distressed woman whom he assists and even invites for dinner that night. However, as darkness falls, Henry’s peaceful existence is upended by the sudden arrival of Clay, a man hell-bent on revenge. Claiming to have lost his boat, Clay’s true motive becomes clear when he brandishes a gun, driven by rage towards Henry—the last person he saw before his brother, Decker, was tragically killed under Henry’s command.

Clay, fueled by vengeance, demands that Henry take his own life. Yet, Henry refuses and reveals the haunting truth of his suicidal past, emphasizing how acceptance has helped him cope with guilt over Decker’s death. Despite Henry’s heartfelt words, Clay remains resolute, leading to a tense standoff that is interrupted when Xander and his crew appear, posing as ICE agents.

With a growing sense of distrust, Henry warns Clay, and the two are soon on the run, dodging gunfire from Xander’s henchmen. In the chaos, Clay subdues a diver from the criminal group, but Xander’s ruthlessness shines through when he cold-bloodedly executes the diver for his failure to recover the sunk heroin. Henry quickly becomes Xander’s prime target as he seeks to exploit Henry’s diving skills.

Recognizing their precarious situation, Clay and Henry form an uneasy alliance, embarking on a dangerous mission for survival. Their initial stop is Sanderson’s modest home, but when they realize they cannot contact anyone, they are forced to flee. Unfortunately, Sanderson inadvertently alerts Xander’s crew to their presence, leading to a climactic confrontation.

As the criminals close in, Sanderson bravely holds them off, sacrificing himself to give Henry and Clay a chance to escape. Understanding that Xander will stop at nothing to reclaim the heroin, Henry sets traps throughout the forest, determined to outsmart and eliminate Xander’s men with Clay by his side.

In this desperate bid for survival, the duo must rely on their combined skills, ingenuity, and resourcefulness to overcome their merciless foes. Meanwhile, Kayla reemerges, her anger at Henry’s failure to appear intense. Xander seizes this moment, taking control and turning Kayla into a pawn in his ruthless game. The situation becomes ever more dire as Henry, desperate to save her, agrees to dive for the drugs, leaving Clay to guard against any of Kayla’s impulsive actions. The drama intensifies when Kayla’s true allegiances come to light, forcing Clay to confront a formidable rival determined to have her way. When Henry finally surfaces with the heroin and Xander close behind, he’s stunned to find Clay holding Kayla captive, her cries for help falling on deaf ears. The dynamics have shifted, and Henry must grapple with Kayla’s betrayal, a realization that shakes the foundation of the unfolding conflict.

As tension mounts, Xander seizes control, leveraging deceit and brute force to overpower Henry. However, even the strongest adversaries are not infallible. A critical misstep from Kayla allows Henry to turn the tables on her, shifting the power back into his hands. Although the struggle is far from over, Xander’s fortune has finally run dry. Driven by anger and determination, Henry seizes victory, not just defeating Xander but also exploiting a crucial mistake that leaves him vulnerable.
