In Spain, he finds an unexpected ally in María, who aids him in recovering from a robbery’s financial blow while also helping him reconnect with his estranged daughter. Then in Germany, Ingrid plays a pivotal role in facilitating Abraham’s reconciliation with his own past and the country that once symbolized his suffering.
