Juancho Trinidad (Joshua Garcia), a talented and passionate culinary student, and Zy Angeles (Julia Barretto), an aspiring writer with a love for Filipino culture, first crossed paths years earlier during a lively food festival in Bicol. Their shared enthusiasm for Bicolano cuisine quickly ignited a deep connection, fueling dreams of opening a restaurant that would pay homage to their heritage and bring their culinary passions to life. However, life’s unpredictable nature and diverging career ambitions eventually created a rift between them, leading to a painful breakup that left unresolved feelings lingering beneath the surface.

Fast forward to the present, Juancho has become a successful chef, running the acclaimed restaurant “Casa Rosa” in Naga City, where he has gained recognition in the culinary world. As he prepares for a crucial dinner with potential investors, an unexpected encounter occurs—Zy unexpectedly returns from New York to conduct research for an article about Filipino culinary traditions. Their meeting is tense, tinged with the weight of past emotions, as Juancho invites Zy to his restaurant, partly motivated by a desire to showcase his achievements and perhaps make her regret leaving him.
