Rafael, a women's clothing clerk at Yeyo's in Madrid, dreams of a lavish life filled with luxury cars and a perfect house. He believes in steering his own destiny rather than waiting for change, showing his determination to avoid mediocrity at all costs.

Rafael thrives in a vibrant workplace adorned with beautiful women and an enticing atmosphere. His ability to charm his coworkers, including Roxanne and Susanna, further emphasizes his carefree and seductive lifestyle.

Tension rises as the store announces a competition for a sought-after management position following the death of Mr. Emilio from leukemia. Rafael faces off against Don Antonio, a stern competitor who has spent over 20 years in the department.

As the promotion hinges on monthly sales figures, Don Antonio leads with 95,000 Euros, while Rafael trails slightly behind at 90,000 Euros. The pressure mounts as Rafael must close the gap within eight hours to secure the promotion.

In a desperate move to win the promotion, Rafael successfully sells a luxurious mink coat worth 12,000 Euros. However, fortune turns against him when the check from the sale unexpectedly bounces, leaving him in a precarious position.
