Dragon Ball Z: Broly - The Legendary Super Saiyan

King Kai senses the destruction of the south galaxy and identifies a powerful Super Saiyan as the culprit. He contacts Goku telepathically, warning that the north galaxy is likely the next target. Goku begins to track the mysterious energy to locate the source of the threat.

On Earth, a spaceship interrupts a peaceful picnic and Vegeta confronts the alien invaders. Paragus introduces himself as the mastermind behind a new Saiyan planet and claims Vegeta's throne awaits. He asserts that a Legendary Super Saiyan is rampaging through the galaxy, enticing Vegeta to join his cause.

Gohan, Future Trunks, Krillin, Master Roshi and Oolong accompany Vegeta aboard the alien ship. The group heads toward Paragus's domain to confront the looming threat. Along the way, they prepare for the unknown dangers of New Vegeta.

Upon arrival on New Vegeta, Vegeta meets Paragus's son Broly, who joins him in tracking the mysterious Super Saiyan. Broly's mere presence hints at an unprecedented power. The two begin their pursuit together.

Gohan, Trunks, and Krillin explore New Vegeta and discover it is largely uninhabited except for alien slaves. The slaves reveal that a Legendary Super Saiyan destroyed their civilization and the masters abuse them. Gohan and Krillin defend the slaves from the abuse.

Goku arrives and is greeted by Paragus, who recognizes him as Bardock's son. Paragus invites Goku and the others to dinner at the palace. The gathering foreshadows possible alliances while hinting at Paragus's true motives.

Broly is agitated merely by Goku's presence. Paragus activates a mind-control device linked to Broly's headband, attempting to pacify him. However, the device only provides a temporary calm as tension continues to simmer.

Broly breaks free from the mind-control and transforms into the Legendary Super Saiyan. He attacks Goku while Trunks and Gohan defend him, and Vegeta falters, losing the will to fight. Paragus observes with a mixture of relief and fear as Broly's power erupts.

Paragus taunts Vegeta and reveals Broly's backstory: he was born with a power level of 10,000 and was feared by King Vegeta, who ordered his execution. He also notes Bardock's final stand against Frieza on the day the planet fell. The two escape into space, protected by Broly's strength.

Paragus explains his plan to use Broly to exact revenge on King Vegeta's bloodline and to conquer Earth, turning it into New Planet Vegeta. He warns that a comet is headed for New Vegeta and will destroy the planet upon impact. The revelation intensifies the urgency of the conflict.

Piccolo arrives and heals the wounded with Senzu Beans, reviving Goku, Gohan, and Trunks. The team regroups and continues to press the fight against Broly, though they remain outmatched. Piccolo's intervention restores morale and focus.

Vegeta's pride returns and he challenges Broly, briefly matching his power before being incapacitated. The duel exposes the limits of Vegeta's strength against the Legendary Super Saiyan. Goku signals readiness to intervene as the battle escalates.

Paragus attempts to escape in a small space pod but is confronted and killed by Broly. His death marks a turning point as the manipulator is removed from the equation. Broly's fury continues to burn unchecked.

Goku calls for help and receives ki from his allies, albeit reluctantly. He unleashes a piercing blow that destabilizes Broly's enormous power. The Legendary Super Saiyan's aura wavers as his strength finally wanes.

The comet reaches New Vegeta and destroys the planet as Broly's power explodes. Goku, his allies, and the enslaved survivors escape aboard Piccolo's spaceship bound for Earth. They cheer their survival as they depart for home.
