Dharam Veer

Meenakshi is saved from attackers by Jwala Singh in the forest. Jwala asks for her hand in marriage as thanks for saving her, but her father had previously denied him. The couple form a bond that will influence the rest of the tale.

That same night, a tiger reappears and is slain by Jwala while defending the villagers. The tiger kills a villager, and Jwala covers the body with his poncho as they wrestle the beast. Both he and the tiger tumble off a cliff, leaving the princess shocked.

Meenakshi mistakes Jwala for dead after the fall and goes into shock. Unknown to Jwala, she is pregnant by him, a secret that will alter the kingdom's future. Her arranged marriage to another royal family is later set by her father.

King Satpal Singh fears a prophecy saying he will be killed by his eldest nephew Dharam. To avoid this fate, he pretends poverty and moves in with his sister. This sets the stage for his later scheming.

The Queen gives birth to a healthy baby boy. Satpal snatches the infant and throws it from a window during the night. The loyal falcon Sheroo catches the infant and flies him to Jwala's circle.

Jwala is recovering from tiger injuries when a poor arrowsmith and his wife take the baby in and raise him as their own. They explain the origin to Jwala when he awakens, and he consents to letting them keep the child. The falcon Sheroo remains linked to the child's fate.

The Queen gives birth to twins, and Satpal believes the prophecy is averted by dealing with only the elder. He schemes to swap the babies for his own, aiming to secure power through deception. His plot sets the stage for later revelations.

While Satpal sleeps, his wife swaps the children back, undoing the initial deception. The twins’ true parentage remains hidden for now, allowing the ruse to persist a little longer.

As they grow, Dharam becomes skilled with the bow under Jwala's tutelage, while Veer becomes the crown prince and wins the heart of Rupa the gypsy girl. The two brothers forge an unlikely bond, unaware they are twins. The kingdom watches their friendship as the prophecy looms unresolved.

A conspiracy by Satpal and his son sabotages a chariot wheel, leading to a soldier's injury. The Queen is forced to punish Dharam's father by cutting off his hands, deepening Dharam's resolve and sowing hatred toward Veer. Satpal's scheming tightens its grip on the throne.

Satpal and his son kill Dharam's mother and frame Veer with one of the royal arrows. Dharam discovers the murder and accuses Veer, demanding the Queen become his mother to satisfy the law. Veer protests, while the court braces for the consequences.

Dharam and Veer agree to a duel, with Satpal hoping Dharam will kill Veer so Dharam can be blamed for murder. In the middle of the fight, the poor blacksmith reveals the truth about the baby and shows the cloth.

The Queen realizes the twins' true parentage from the blacksmith's tale and the cloth they show. She orders the fight halted and reveals their real relationship to the astonished brothers. The brothers are momentarily united by the truth.

Reunited, the brothers rally to dispose of Satpal's forces. Dharam defeats Satpal in the conflict, ending his threat to the rightful royal line. Peace returns as the true lineage is acknowledged.
