The film opens with the legend of the sea swallowing the ancient city of Dwaraka, a cataclysm that still lingers as a thread pulling the present into a centuries-old mystery. The myth hints at a hidden power tied to the coast and the events to come. This legend sets the tone for the journey between past and present.

In modern Mumbai, Baburao is a street-smart petty thief who survives on pranks and quick getaways. He makes a living with small-time schemes, always looking for the next easy score. His routine is disrupted when a foreign-returned visitor arrives and draws him into a mystery.

Satyavati, Karuna, and their entourage arrive to see Karuna's sister and hire Baburao's taxi. He initially mistakes Satyavati for someone carrying precious diamonds, which foreshadows the trouble ahead. Realizing his error, he is nevertheless pulled along by circumstance into their journey toward the fabled coast.

The group reaches the ruined shores near Dwaraka, and Baburao navigates a world of danger and awe. He narrowly avoids a violent encounter with locals who sense they are outsiders. The ominous atmosphere hints at ancient powers awakening around the coast.

Baburao meets Paapa, a mystical girl whose powers glow as she speaks in riddles about fate and love. Her visions hint at Karuna's disappearance and push Baburao to confront his growing feelings for Satyavati. The encounter deepens the mystery and links the present to otherworldly forces.

The story shifts to a vivid flashback: Balaram, an atheist archaeologist who loves Karuna, marries her and studies near Dwaraka. He becomes obsessed with a recurring sea phenomenon that happens every Mahalaya Amavasya, a force he believes science can explain rather than faith.

Balaram dives during the Mahalaya Amavasya event and retrieves an ancient metal box marked with a Trisulam. A covert group of foreign mercenaries begins hunting the box to harness its power, setting the stage for a deadly chase.

The mercenaries trap Balaram and Karuna, torturing them to reveal the box's coordinates. In the chaos, Balaram fights to protect Karuna and reclaim the box, but it slips from his grasp and vanishes into a cave. Har Gopal betrays Balaram to the mercenaries, sealing their fate.

Balaram sacrifices himself to protect Karuna and ensure the box's safety. As he dies, his final instructions guide Karuna toward the box's true resting place, cementing the link between the past and present.

In the present, Baburao vows to avenge Balaram’s death and rescue Karuna, enlisting Paapa's guidance to trace the cave where the box fell. The quest tightens as they follow clues that lead toward a climactic confrontation.

Mercenaries pursue the relic through the cave tunnels, forcing a desperate confrontation as they try to flee with the box. Baburao and Paapa coordinate to stop them, drawing on the memory of Balaram’s sacrifice.

When the box finally opens, a fierce goddess emerges and destroys the mercenaries and their followers before retreating back into the box’s cradle. The balance of power is restored, but the relic remains tightly sealed away.

The bottle containing Paapa is recovered by a stray dog named Striker, and Paapa’s spirit begins its ascent to the afterlife. In a quiet epilogue, Baburao and Satyavati celebrate the birth of their child, who bears a birthmark identical to Paapa’s, linking the present to the ancient mystery.
