Dani Mario Casas is a man who works at a small travel agency, navigating his father’s death with a calm, almost clinical, resolve. His sister Laura Elisabeth Larena arrives at the office asking for a world tour package, nudging him toward a plan he might not have considered but could provide a sense of purpose amid his grief.
One night, a stranger named Mila Milena Smit asks Dani for money to buy a burger, and he lends her the cash. The two end up together, and Mila leads him to a tattoo shop she claims is run by friends. A hidden water drainage channel hides the keys to bypass the shop’s roller shutter, and Mila uses this to gain access. Inside, Mila deactivates the security alarm by entering a code and pressures a reluctant Dani to get inked. After a round of drinks, Mila inks the word vuela on Dani’s right forearm, a moment that becomes a stark symbol of the night. Mila then snaps a selfie with Dani using a Polaroid, pinning the instant photo on a panel among other pictures.
They leave the shop and move to an apartment, where their night turns intimate. An angry, violent man named Ray [Fernando Valdivielso] bursts in, Mila’s boyfriend, and he threatens both of them. Ray attacks Dani, who defends himself with a weapon, and Ray bleeds out on the floor. Mila, convinced that the police will buy Dani’s “good boy” version of events, attempts suicide by leaping from the window. Dani, horrified, flees the scene in a panic.
Seeking help, Dani reaches out to his sister for information about what the police know. He learns that the only physical evidence tying him to the deaths is the Polaroid photograph of him with Mila. Determined to erase any trace of his involvement, he returns to the tattoo shop to remove the evidence. He triggers the alarm again, and the staff—who are leaving—give chase through the shop and spill out into the streets of Barcelona. Dani manages to outpace them, but the encounter reveals Mila is still alive, badly wounded, in a hospital room.
The film closes on a tense, unresolved note as a blood-stained Dani confronts the future, deeply torn about what to do with Mila.
