Psychiatrist Dr. Ty Adams arrives at Sedah State Mental Hospital exuding confidence and charm, yet beneath this polished facade lies a man grappling with profound grief over the loss of his daughter. His initial interactions with the facility’s administrator, Dr. Samuel Delazo, blossom into a tentative friendship over a friendly game of chess. However, Adams’ intrigue takes a dark turn as he becomes entranced by a patient who claims to embody Satan, an obsession that begins to consume him.

When a desperate patient makes a suicide attempt on the hospital’s rooftop, Adams’ overconfidence leads him to take matters into his own hands.
