Christy

Roy is a 12th-grade student living in Poovar with his aunt. He frequently skips classes, prompting his mother Lissy to threaten to bring him home. To help him focus, his aunt hires a tutor named Christy.

Roy visits Christy's house for tutoring and finds her distressed, sensing something is wrong with her. He tells his aunt that Christy seems troubled and that he does not want to return. Nevertheless, he agrees to continue tutoring because his mother has convinced the school to let him take an important exam.

Christy is recently divorced and has a tense relationship with her father, Joseph, who borrows large sums of money. During tutoring, Roy starts to fall in love with Christy, and their friendship begins to deepen.

As they spend time together, Roy's feelings grow and he passes the important exam thanks to their support. This milestone helps him move toward college life. The pair's bond becomes the core of his motivation.

Now a freshman in college, Roy contemplates confessing his love to Christy. He wonders whether their relationship can survive the distance and age difference involved.
