Captain America

In 1936, the Fascist government in Italy kidnaps child prodigy Tadzio De Santis to fuel a supersoldier project. Dr. Maria Vaselli objects to the procedure and defects to the United States, taking her knowledge with her. Her departure seeds the future conflict between the two worlds.

The American government discovers Steve Rogers, a frail polio survivor, and brings him into the supersoldier program. The experimental formula cures his ailments and grants him extraordinary strength and endurance. Before the program can expand, Vaselli is murdered by a Nazi spy working with Lieutenant Fleming.

The now adult Tadzio De Santis takes on the Red Skull persona, possessing power rivaling Rogers. He and his backers plan an intercontinental ballistic missile strike against the White House. The threat sets up a new front in the war.

Captain America penetrates the Nazi launch facility to stop the Red Skull's plan. The Skull binds him to the missile, triggering a desperate struggle. Rogers tricks him into cutting off his own hand to avoid capture.

A young Tom Kimball photographs Captain America during the confrontation over Washington, D.C. He witnesses Rogers kick the missile off course, sending it to crash in Alaska. Rogers is buried under the ice as the weapon crashes.

In 1992, Tom Kimball is elected President and pushes environmentalist legislation. This angers the military-industrial complex led by General Fleming. The new administration's stance triggers a dangerous alliance between Fleming and the Red Skull.

The Red Skull has raised a daughter, Valentina, and leads a powerful crime family. He covents with global shadow organizations to eliminate opponents of militarism and fascism. The group murders prominent Americans including Martin Luther King Jr., John F. Kennedy, and Robert Kennedy.

Rogers' body is discovered frozen in ice, and he miraculously revives. His resurfaced presence becomes an international headline and alerts both Kimball and the Red Skull. He begins to plot his next moves.

Rogers escapes and travels to California to reconnect with his wartime girlfriend Bernice. Bernice has since married and has a daughter, Sharon, who helps him catch up on recent events. The pair begins to plot a course back toward the threat.

Valentina and her thugs infiltrate Bernice's life and kill her while searching for Rogers. The loss drives Rogers to continue his mission with renewed urgency. Sharon soon becomes more involved in the pursuit.

Rogers and Sharon recover Maria Vaselli's diary, revealing key details about the Red Skull's past. They learn the villain's original name and the path that led him to his current identity. The diary serves as a turning point in their strategy.

In the Red Skull's childhood home, they find a tape recording of the murder of his family, a haunting revelation that explains his motivations. The discovery provides critical context for confronting him.

Sharon sabotages the Skull's defenses by getting herself kidnapped as a distraction. The plan allows Rogers to slip into the Red Skull's castle in his Captain America costume. The ensuing confrontation becomes a battle for the future of the world.

Kimball is rescued and a siege on the castle ensues. The Red Skull triggers a nuclear device, but Rogers distracts him with the recording of the De Santis family's murder. Rogers then defeats the Skull by sending him off a cliff with his shield, and Valentina is knocked aside by the returning shield.

Marines arrive, rescue the President, and arrest the kidnappers. Rogers and Sharon embrace. The world celebrates Kimball's environmental pact and renewed global cooperation.
