Captain America: Brave New World

The film opens with Thaddeus 'Thunderbolt' Ross, now the President, promising the American people that they will face unprecedented threats together. This speech sets the tone for the challenges to come, highlighting Ross's controversial past and his struggles with anger, particularly regarding the Hulk and Abomination's destructive battle in Harlem.

Five months later, Captain America, alongside Falcon, is sent to Oaxaca, Mexico, to capture members of the Serpent Society. In an intense battle at a church, he successfully frees hostages but ultimately lets the leader, Sidewinder, escape while defeating the mercenaries.

After their mission, Sam Wilson and Joaquin Torres return to Baltimore for training with Isaiah Bradley. Isaiah expresses his doubts about Sam working with the government, reflecting on their troubled past with authority and the system that failed them.

At a White House event, Sam is invited for a private meeting with President Ross to discuss the potential restart of the Avengers. While Sam is hesitant due to Ross’s controversial history, Ross assures him they can work together to build a better future.

During the event, a mind-controlled Isaiah and four others attempt to assassinate Ross, initiated by the eerie song 'Mr. Blue'. Ruth Bat-Seraph intervenes to protect Ross, while Sam tries to stop Isaiah, leading to an intense chase until Isaiah breaks free from the control.

Sam confronts Ross in his bunker, advocating for Isaiah's innocence as he was under mind control during the assassination attempt. Ross remains skeptical and tells Sam he’s too close to the case, creating tension between the two.

Sam and Joaquin discover that the mind-controlled attackers had their phones flashing with a signal just before the assassination attempt. They trace the signal to an off-grid facility, Camp Echo One, where ominous genetic experiments are taking place.

At Camp Echo One, Sam and Joaquin encounter Samuel Sterns, who reveals his vengeful plan against Ross. Sterns, equipped with knowledge of gamma radiation, represents a significant threat with his ambitions to destabilize Ross's political power.

As the tension escalates, Ross meets with international leaders who express their waning trust in his leadership. Ross's failing health and increasing stress over the situation further complicate his efforts to secure the treaty regarding Celestial Island.

Sam learns from Sidewinder that Ross had been using Sterns's abilities to create gamma pills for himself. This revelation leads to a confrontation between Sam and Ross, where Ross admits to his deteriorating health, complicating their alliance.

Sterns's machinations come to a head when warships are dispatched to Celestial Island. Sam, working with Joaquin and Ruth, scramble to stop Sterns before his plot can fully unfold, leading to a chaotic situation with international implications.

Under increasing pressure, Ross's gamma side surfaces during a press conference, transforming him into the Red Hulk. As he loses control, a dramatic showdown ensues between him and Captain America, culminating in an epic clash that endangers the White House.

In a pivotal moment, Sam manages to reach the human side of Ross amidst his rage, invoking memories of his daughter, Betty. This emotional connection helps Ross revert back to his normal form, leading to his arrest and the completion of the confrontation.

In a haunting post-credits scene, Sam visits Sterns at The Raft, where Sterns cryptically warns him about impending threats from other worlds and universes. This chilling revelation hints at greater dangers to come, leaving the future uncertain.
