Budget Padmanabham

As a child, Padmanabham grows up under the shadow of the ruthless loan shark Vaddila Reddy, who drives him from his beloved home after his parents' death. When the court imposes a strict deadline to repay the debt, Padmanabham dedicates himself to scraping together every rupee to reclaim his house. He uses his sharp wit to outmaneuver financial obstacles, even as the odds remain stacked against him.

Ramya proposes a bold arrangement: she will hand over her entire salary and agree not to have children until the loan is cleared. Padmanabham accepts, and the two marry under this unusual pact. The agreement ties their finances and personal lives from the start, testing how far wit and will can carry them through hardship.

Behind the couple's troubles, a storm of family demands piles up: Vijaya, Padmanabham's cousin, and Totti Subramanyam, his brother-in-law, strain the finances.
