He drives home to visit his pregnant wife and discusses a recent construction deal on the phone. An oncoming truck crashes into his car, killing him.

Sam, a psychologist based in Ooty, is seeking medical therapy for her four-year-old son Siddhu who suffers from a speech impediment. The struggle with Siddhu's condition foreshadows the emotional stakes of the family's upcoming trials.

Gautham, a rising architect, has just secured a deal to refurbish a deserted compound for a politician. To focus on the project, he invites his childhood friend Gayathri and his sister Aditi to live with them at the site.

Gayathri begins texting with Krishna, an old friend who supposedly died in a car accident. He cryptically implies he will be seen in their photos if they 'begin to take things more seriously,' and Gautham confirms Krishna died the previous night and that the compound has no satellite connectivity.

Paranormal activity escalates as the phone beeps with new messages despite the battery being removed, and the power suddenly cuts out. The group's attempt to flee is thwarted when their car refuses to start.

Back inside the compound, Sam and Gayathri realize the messages aren't from Krishna but are supernatural. Gautham then reveals the place's dark history: the site used to be Mount Roseyard School, abandoned over ten years ago after a series of deadly incidents.

The group searches for clues about the school's past among magazines, only to find articles whose pages are missing. The incomplete clippings hint at a hidden history that the living still fear.

Aditi is chased by a pack of wild dogs while trying to flee; Gautham and Dharman manage to save her, though all three suffer injuries. The incident underscores the escalating danger surrounding the group.

Treating Aditi, the group discovers torn pages in the former librarian Ganesan's house that reveal Boomika's story. The fragments hint at a tragedy tied to Boomika, the autistic daughter who painted in the forest.

Boomika, an autistic artist and nature lover, lived in the abandoned flat and painted in the forest until she died under mysterious circumstances. Dharman quips about the Earth as a single, self-regulating organism, hinting at the Gaia Hypothesis, and Gayathri ties it to ecological balance.

Gautham visits Boomika's former painting space and witnesses the wall-paintings moving, signaling the haunting's tangible presence. The moving artwork confirms that Boomika's presence is active.

Aditi destroys Gayathri's phone, believing it is the root of the trouble. Boomika's ghastly apparition appears behind Aditi as she and Gayathri are knocked unconscious, while Dharman creates a distraction.

Sam reunites with Gautham and learns Siddhu had been left behind; Siddhu ends up painting with Boomika and then speaks the word 'Thank you,' indicating his recovered speech.

In the aftermath, Aditi undergoes trauma therapy, Gayathri recovers, Dharman returns to his hometown, Siddhu regains speech, and Gautham stays in Ooty to focus on the refurbishment, performing a bhumi puja to ward off Boomika.

In Bengaluru, Sam learns Boomika's death was a suicide linked to deforestation and that those involved in construction were targeted; she rushes back to Ooty only to find Gautham trapped inside the abandoned flat as the wall paintings move and Boomika screams, cutting to black.
