During the reunion's barbecue, Se-Ho drinks heavily and erupts in anger, accusing the others of lying to themselves. The outburst exposes simmering resentments that have festered for years. The mood shifts from festive to tense as old grievances surface.

A bunny-masked figure appears and drags Se-Ho to the basement, where he is killed. The brutal murder is swift and unsettling, signaling that the night will be more than a celebration. The figure disappears back into the shadows, leaving fear in its wake.

Eun-Young confronts Ms. Park in the bathroom and tries to drown her, but the attempt fails. Before she can escape or explain, the bunny figure attacks and kills her. The violence keeps escalating as the killer moves through the group.

Detective Ma uncovers that there is no genuine male student named Jung-Won and that Mi-Ja fabricated the Jung-Won persona. It is revealed that Mi-Ja is actually Jung-Won, the real name of the person who orchestrated the plan. Jung-Won endured hardship and used Mi-Ja's identity to become Ms. Park's caretaker as part of her vendetta against the reunion. The backstory reframes the entire night as a calculated act of revenge.

Jung-Won drives Ms. Park to the beach and vents her frustration at her before jumping from the pier, killing herself. Ms. Park can only watch in stunned silence as the tragedy concludes. The moment marks the final act of the vengeance tragedy.
