Miguel wears a mask to pose as a boyfriend and tries to lure a girl into sex. When she unmasks him, he stabs her with scissors in a brutal attack. The crime lands him in a mental asylum for five years.

After his sentence ends, Miguel is released into the care of his sister Manuela. Along with their invalid aunt and Countess Maria Gonzales, Manuela runs Europe's International Youth-Club Boarding School of Languages on the Costa Del Sol. The school becomes the backdrop for the later killings.

On the train leaving the sanitarium, Miguel spots Angela, a long-haired brunette, and a fixation begins to form. He watches her from a distance, setting the stage for a creeping stalker dynamic. The encounter signals the danger to come at the school.

Maria claims the family is under threat and that Manuela only cares about money. She hints at plots against Manuela that would preserve the inheritance. These motives complicate the power dynamics at the school.

During a night, the killer enters Eva's room and stabs her through the back and chest. Angela is frightened by a cryptic warning on her campus routine after Eva dies. The murder escalates the killer's spree.

Alvaro's Spanish class listens to dialect tapes, and on Angela's tape the voice briefly threatens to cut her with a hacksaw. Angela screams when she sees Miguel at the classroom window, but he disappears again when the teacher returns and the tape resumes. The tension of the tape heightens the sense of danger.

Bloody clothing is found at Eva's place, and a boulder nearly rolls onto Angela on a hillside. Manuela notices her missing snake and Angela confronts signs of danger as Antonio is seen with a garden tool. The sense of peril escalates around the school.

Inga is lured to an isolated location, restrained with rope, and decapitated as a masked killer turns on a saw. Laura and her friends become aware something is terribly wrong as danger closes in. The campus loses its last sense of safety.

Angela packs her room and finds the bodies of her friends. She is attacked by the killer, and Alvaro drives off in his car during the chaos. The truth about the killings begins to surface and the fight for survival intensifies.

Manuela and Alvaro discuss the killings and the plan to blame them on Miguel so Manuela can keep the inheritance. Miguel overhears and realizes the web of manipulation around him. The murder plot tightens around the family.

Miguel believes Angela is his sister and chokes her, but she defends herself with a spike to his neck. Alvaro arrives, but Manuela kills him with a hedge cutter. Miguel then strangles Manuela and collapses as the police arrive; Antonio consoles Angela as the drama ends.
