Lindsey, a sorority member, enjoys a peaceful walk home after a heartfelt conversation with her sister Oona at Hawthorne College. However, her serenity is shattered when she discovers a hooded figure lurking in the shadows, leading to a frantic chase and a horrific fate as she is brutally attacked and killed.

Inside the sorority house, Riley Stone navigates her academics and social life with her sorority sisters. The group faces challenges as they rally against their professor, who is embroiled in controversy regarding his sexist remarks and the need for diversity in the curriculum.

Kris, an activist within the sorority, initiates a petition to remove Professor Gelson after her public confrontation regarding the lack of diversity leads to his reprimand. This act generates both support and backlash, particularly following Kris's controversial removal of a bust of Calvin Hawthorne, symbolizing the toxic legacy she aims to challenge.

While working at a coffee shop, Riley interacts with her friends and the shy Landon, who reluctantly supports Kris's petition. This moment is punctuated by the arrival of Phil, a fraternity brother, which brings back painful memories for Riley regarding a previous traumatic encounter with Brian Huntley.

Riley and her sisters prepare for a performance at the fraternity house, which is set to highlight the issues they face. After a series of threatening messages, the tension escalates with an attack on Jesse by an unknown assailant. This climactic moment forces Riley and her sisters to confront the reality of their situation, as they band together to survive against the escalating threats around them.
