Beautiful Disaster

Abby Abernathy leaves her Las Vegas upbringing to reinvent herself at college, seeking a fresh start away from her past. She hopes to build a new identity apart from the life her father groomed her for.

On her first night in the new city, Abby is taken to a secret fight club by her friend Mer. There she meets the star fighter Travis and feels an instant, electric connection between them.

The bursar accepts Abby’s payment for her first semester in cash, a reminder that future payments must go through the bank. She talks with Mer about it, and Travis drops by the next day, only to disappear again.

Travis appears in Abby’s class and asks her out for dinner. She insists on paying her own way and makes it clear they are only friends, setting firm boundaries. He shares a bit about his family, while she keeps her life guarded.

The days after the poker night bring them closer, and Travis and Abby begin to get intimate. Abby panics at the intensity, pushes him away, and leaves to seek Mer. Travis is left behind, unsure what went wrong.

Abby spots a loving message from Mick on her computer, which sparks jealousy in Travis. He remains unaware of the deeper ties between their pasts. Abby leaves in anger and is later found sleeping in the library by Parker.

Shepley tracks down Abby and invites her to a surprise birthday party, hoping to reconnect her with friends. The plan provides a moment of levity amid the mounting tension. Abby participates and begins to reconnect with her circle.

Travis finds Abby at the party, stops her from drinking, and cares for her. He gives her a full body massage, and they finally share a night of intimacy, deepening their bond. The moment marks a turning point in their relationship.

In the morning, Abby learns her father Mick owes a large debt to Benny. A security guard confiscates the money because Abby is under 21. Travis offers to fight to win it back, but Abby discovers Mick’s ploy to gamble with her. She tases Mick to take the money back, starts a distraction fire, and she with Shepley rescue Travis.
