Nick Cannon portrays Tracy “Tre” Stokes, a dedicated 23-year-old bike cop whose fierce commitment to justice is deeply inspired by the legacy of his late father, a former detective. Despite his passion, Tre faces skepticism from his mentor, Captain Delgado, played by Cheech Marin, who is wary of Tre’s impulsive behavior and hesitates to let him chase his aspirations. One day, while Delgado is occupied with a basketball game, an unexpected visitor from the Mayor’s office arrives with a proposition: they need a seasoned undercover detective at Westbury School after a tragedy shakes the student body. Seizing this opportunity, Tre convinces Delgado to give him a shot at the undercover role.

Disguised as Rob Donovan, Shawn Ashmore, Tre must now infiltrate Westbury, a place where he attempts to fit in and uncover the secrets behind a high-profile crime. He quickly engages with the basketball community, impressing everyone with his talent when he helps secure a long-awaited win for the school. However, his individualistic approach to the game doesn’t sit well with Rob’s friends, which complicates his mission. Soon, he learns about an exclusive party at the marina hosted by Rob, leading him to join the festivities on a borrowed jetski and to partake in an exhilarating race. Unfortunately, the night spirals into chaos when a rival shows up, resulting in their arrest and subsequent camaraderie in the holding cell.

As Tre digs deeper into the party scene, he identifies a disturbing pattern: sleek luxury cars mysteriously disappear after these events. This revelation propels him to arrange a sting operation, hosting a party at Delgado’s house featuring the alluring ‘65 Corvette Stingray, affectionately named Juanita. Tre cunningly allows Rob to take the vehicle, which provides him with a pivotal clue but costs him his position on the police force. Undaunted, Tre pursues the investigation independently, only to discover that Rob and his friends are being coerced into theft, with stolen vehicles hidden away on campus.

When Headmaster Felix Powers, played by Hugh Bonneville, becomes aware of Tre’s true intent, he orchestrates a sinister plot, abducting Tre and Karen under the pretense of a dire situation that aligns with his drug trafficking activities. In an adrenaline-fueled showdown, Tre manages to escape and allies with backup to thwart Powers’ criminal scheme. The climax unfolds in an electrifying boat chase, leading to Tre finally confronting Powers and dismantling his dangerous network.

With justice restored and Powers defeated, Tre finishes high school and is welcomed back to the police force, his reputation bolstered as a brave and skilled investigator.
