Saloni Bagga, a chef Triptii Dimri, dreams of her restaurant winning the Meraki Star. She meets Akhil Chadha Vicky Kaushal and they marry soon after, their partnership bursting with ambition and optimism. Yet trouble soon brews as a misstep costs Saloni the Meraki star nomination, leaving her fired from the restaurant. The strain proves too much for the marriage and the couple decides to divorce. Saloni relocates to Mussoorie to work at a restaurant owned by Gurbir Singh Pannu Ammy Virk. After a sequence of events, a drunken Saloni ends up sharing a night with Gurbir, and that same night Akhil arrives at her door, seeking to rekindle their relationship, leading to yet another one-night stand.

From these entanglements, Saloni discovers she is pregnant. A paternity test reveals she is carrying twins with two different fathers—Akhil and Gurbir—a rare phenomenon known as heteropaternal superfecundation. This sets off a lively and heartfelt scramble as both men try to prove they would be the better partner and father, even as Saloni decides to raise both babies. During a major family argument, Saloni faints and is rushed to the hospital. Doctors reveal that Gurbir’s baby isn’t growing as well as Akhil’s, but delivering early could save both, though it comes with serious risks.

In a selfless move, Akhil agrees to have the twins delivered prematurely to give both babies a chance at life. The operation yields two healthy baby girls, and Saloni begins to recover while marveling at the compassion shown by the man she once believed she had left behind. Meanwhile, Saloni’s restaurant eventually wins back a Meraki Star, and Gurbir reconnects with his ex Sejal Neha Sharma. The story closes on a meta note as Ananya Panday Ananya Panday is said to consider Saloni’s tale for a forthcoming film about her love story.
