As finals approach, the five academic subjects offer a perverse incentive: top scorers will earn the right to sever Koro-sensei's rubbery tentacles. Six students reach the top, setting the stage for a summer break plan to eliminate him without jeopardizing their futures.

The government seizes the chance to publicly execute Koro-sensei, but the plan fails when he contorts into a ball to dodge the assault. Takaoka poisons several students to force a bargain, kidnapping Kaede Kayano and pushing the class toward risky decisions.

Nagisa and Karma join forces to neutralize Itona Horibe, luring him into the rain and cutting his tentacles in a decisive showdown. Ritsu alerts the team to Takaoka’s kidnapping and the looming ultimatum, keeping their plan alive.
