Holly is chased by yakuza across Latimer and takes refuge in a club. A ninja lunges to kill her, but Takeshi intervenes with his Ken sleeve to stop the strike. The moment establishes Holly's danger and sets the tone for a deadly pursuit ahead.

Takeshi fights off the killer in the club, buying Holly time to regroup. The display shows his combat skill and willingness to protect Holly. The looming threat of ninjas hints at a wider conspiracy behind the pursuit.

Holly slips out a bathroom window and runs into Gena of CTAC. Takeshi confronts Gena with a firearm while CTAC reinforcements close in. The scene ends with ninjas ambushing the group and Gena's squad taking losses.

Takeshi and Gena vanquish the ninja attackers and Holly accuses Shinji of engineering a coup within the Mizumoto syndicate. The quick alliance between Holly, Takeshi, and Gena tightens as the stakes rise. They press on toward the Mizumoto headquarters.

The trio reaches the Mizumoto headquarters at the Wild Geese, where Ogai the AI butler greets them. Shinji arrives and awards Holly's bodyguards their most expensive room as a sign of respect. The opulent setting underscores the power struggle at the heart of the clan.

In the Mizumoto tattoo room, Genzo explains who the founder was and that Tanaseda is his son. He describes the clan tradition: when succession happens, the old boss dies along with his stack. The moment ties bloodline to power and sets up the looming transfer of authority.

Gena reports to CTAC that she is Reileen Kawahara, while Takeshi speaks with Tanaseda and is ordered to protect Holly until the succession. The revelation reshapes loyalties and cements the urgency of the mission. The group solidifies their plan to safeguard Holly.

Holly watches an old memory of her parents being murdered and learns their stacks were not destroyed. She resolves to seek Mizumoto help to locate them, deepening the mystery around the clan's power. The memory fuels her determination to survive and uncover the truth.

On the way to Genzo, the group is ambushed by two armored ninjas who kill the yakuza protecting them and stab Gena. Takeshi and Gena fight back and kill the remaining attackers. Ogai then activates the hotel's defense system, wiping out the rest of the intruders.

Holly reveals that tattooist Margot created a tattoo program passed down to the next boss, which kills the previous boss along with his stack. The concept links the tattoos directly to succession and power within Mizumoto. The discovery heightens the stakes of the upcoming confrontation.

Fireworks erupt and a short blackout occurs on the day of the succession, during which Holly goes missing. Shinji orders his ninjas to kill Holly and her bodyguards, while Genzo accelerates the succession. Holly reappears, drugs Shinji and incapacitates him.

During the ceremony, Tanaseda reveals that Shinji and Genzo are vessels for his father, the founder. Holly's tattoo program activates to destroy the founder, and Takeshi and Gena press the assault until the founder is defeated. In the aftermath, Tanaseda shoots the founder's stack and Shinji's head, ending the conspiracy, and Ogai confirms Holly is Margot as the trio looks to future work.
